The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has formally released a schedule plan for its emergency load shedding management.
According to PRO of the company, Mr. William Boateng, the schedule is for two weeks and captured as the ‘National Load shedding Guide.
The schedules will alternate 12 hours of power cut and 48 hours of stable power supply.
The guide covers 7 regions of the country; Greater Accra, Ashanti Region, Central Region, Western Region, Eastern Region and Volta Region.
According to ECG’s PRO, the timetable is temporary, and is expected to be updated with information from engineers working on Ghana’s power plants.
